The WPJA contest judges presented Ulysses Ashton, a wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.

- Sisters? Girlfriends? It doesn't really matter ... the image let's you quietly share in a tearful but most likely joyful embrace. The champagne glasses and microphone in the foreground are a nice touch, giving context to the moment but not cluttering the frame.
