- This took me a minute to catch on to what was happening but once I did, it was instantly the winner. You can just see the groom saying “ok, let's go.†The photographer saw the moment, recognized what was happening and reacted quickly. The composition is not much but it happened so fast you had to shoot first and think later. This did not win on technique or printing or composition but just because it is such a defining moment, caught at precisely the right time. Another really natural, simple, true picture about departure and family love.
