The WPJA contest judges presented Yaisa Tangwell, a Trinidad and Tobago wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.

- Just because you’ve seen one photograph of a wedding party jumping in the air doesn’t mean you’ve seen them all. This photo has style. The bride is positioned in front of the setting sun and is an integral part of the performance. The jumpers play their parts well. The supplemental lighting is well balanced. The composition is strong and the photograph is engaging.
- The jumping bridal party is difficult to make work when so many elements have to all work at the same time, but in this instance it all came together. Back and front light combined also added to the overall effect.
