- There’s something about the fling of hair in the foreground that becomes the perfect frame for a good moment. If you study the photo for awhile you’ll see that it is delivered to the viewer in three distinct layers beginning with that burst of hair (which also serves as entry point into the image along with the arms at right,) the dancing bride and her smiling lips and eyes and finally, the two women enjoying the moment at far right. I’m sure you realize that such an image is a product of feeling. Never diminish the role of your own experience when shooting an event. Yu, after all, as photographer, are the conduit for experience itself allowing the viewer to share in their (and your) moment.
